henri poincare was a taurus. he was born in france in 1854, died in 1912. he was also a  mathematician who was obsessed by the number 3.  each morning he ate a 3 minute soft-boiled egg, each evening had 3 glasses of st. emilion red. he is remembered for this quote:

it is the harmony of the diverse parts, their symmetry, their happy balance; in a word it is all that introduces order, all that gives unity, that permits us to see clearly and to comprehend at once both the ensemble and the details.
