these are a selection of paintings that i've made this current winter 2011-2012.

all paintings represent images near my home studio...in the gatineau hills of
the beautiful region of wakefield, quebc.

over the next few weeks i will be posting individual paintings captioned with
my own sui generis poetic description.

p.s. "sui generis"  is a latin expression, literally meaning of its own kind/genus or unique in its characteristics. the expression is often used in analytic philosophy to indicate an idea, an entity, or a reality which cannot be included in a wider concept.
