if you were an alien up in a spaceship looking down at the earth, down at mt. lemon-jello in the region of chi-chi you might, each morning, see a figure standing in the middle of a circle of stones. the figure would be spinning very slowly with his eyes closed. he would come to a halt after about a minute, take two steps forward, deliberately pick up a specific stone from the circle, put in in a satchel and continue walking in a straight line drawn from the circles centre point through the point in the stone circle where the stone was taken, like extending the hand of a clock outwards, like an arrows trajectory.
