sacred wolves

swedish wolf,  outside my loft, gothenberg, sweden.

in sweden, wolves are a protected species, more than that they are sacred, much like the cow is in india. wolves freely walk the streets scavenging out of restaurant and supermarket garbage dumpsters. humans regularly feed them leftovers and over the years they have interbred with domestic dogs, have evolved to become docile, are of no danger to humans. there has never been a report of a wolf attack.
