a man was resting when he heard an incessant knocking on his door. he knew it was his deceitful, crafty and cunning, bombastic neighbour so he pretended to be asleep, not to hear him.

said the knocking man: if you are home, not answering the door and pretending to sleep, i hope your next dream is a nightmare. 

said the resting man: i will give the message to your friend.

said the knocking man: do you take me for a fool? i know it's you in there.

said the resting man: ok, you're right, it's me,  please come in and help me...wake me from this nightmare, it's terrible.

said the knocking man:  no,  i'm not going to wake you, i'm leaving you to have your nightmare...you deserve it for not treating me with respect.
